JIM JONES STATES THAT MONEY WAS THE CAUSE OF THE SPLIT WITH CAM'RON
Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones make up the Three Amigos. In a new DVD, the three rappers take fans behind the scenes, with exclusive never-before-scene footage of the Amigos in the studio, on video shoot’s and even revealing interviews. In one of these interviews, Jim Jones hints at what broke his long time friendship with Cam’ron. In the video while showing footage of Cam’ron, Jones can be heard saying “Money is a motherf*cker because amongst anything. You can have two people who were thinking of anything else and they can fall apart d*mn near overnight.” Also featured in the trailer is Juelz Santana challenging big Snoop Dogg to a “Smokers Gone Wild”. The Three Amigos DVD is being put together by DJ Scoob Doo and will feature Mike Epps.

Atlanta Hip-Hop superstars Ludacris and T.I. are two of a long list of stars that plan to be honored at this year’s Trumpet Awards.

With the premiere of the biographical film about the Notorious B.I.G. just two weeks away, Lil' Kim has expressed her disapproval of the movie's portrayal of her relationship with B.I.G., and takes on the rapper's mother and wife who gave it the green light.
While Biggie's label boss Sean "Diddy" Combs and widow Faith Evans were both involved in the biopic, Lil' Kim--who had both a professional and personal relationship with the rapper--was not involved at all stages of the project.
During the casting of the film, it was rumored that Kim was unhappy that producers picked Naturi Naughton of 3LW fame to play her. It was also speculated that Kim felt her relationship with B.I.G. was sensationalized. She's now blaming Big's mother, Ms. Wallace, and wife, Faith Evans, for their involvement.
"I've had enough and I'm about to expose them both... I've been quiet for a long time," Lil Kim told Hip-Hop Weekly.
"I'm very disappointed in Faith," she said. "There's nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace could do to stop me from reppin' B.I.G. all day. I'm gonna always do that... It's time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed."

In this week's Sales Wrap, Beyonce stays fierce at No. 2, Kanye West secures Top 5, Keyshia Cole is indifferent at No. 7 and Soulja Boy falls short.
Showing a different side of her personality this time around, Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce remains dominant atop all R&B and hip-hop releases resting at No. 2. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the Grammy winning singer's latest disc pushed 210,900 this week making her total number of discs sold even out at 1,458,900.
Choosing a lighter tune for his latest solo project, Kanye West has surpassed a million in sales as 808s & Heartbreak has sold 148,200 copies over the holiday break landing at No. 5. His fourth disc has sold 1,023,900 records.
R&B superstar Keyshia Cole's A Different Me slipped to No. 7 this week with 126,500 albums sold. Her third disc will likely be certified gold next week as it sits at 448,600 copies as of now.
Another soulful singer, Jamie Foxx, has been able to move units as Intuition dropped to No. 9 with 104,500 records sold. After just one week in stores, Foxx's latest release rests at 369,900.
Grammy winning rapper T.I.'s Paper Trail moved up to No. 15 with 78,300 copies sold. The Atlanta-bred emcee's sixth album has shelled out a total of 1,522,100 records to date.
Mega platinum selling rapper Lil' Wayne's Tha Carter III moved up to No. 32 this week selling 57,813 units. The self-proclaimed "Greatest Rapper Alive" and his latest solo project rests at 2,874,400.
Meanwhile, Plies' Da REAList moved to No. 36 this week pushing 52,700 discs. The Florida-bred emcee's newest offering has sold a total of 167,400 albums.
Teen rap star Soulja Boy Tell 'Em iSouljaBoy rested at No. 47 this week with 34,400 albums sold. The "Crank Dat" rapper's sophomore project currently sits at 79,900 going into its second week in stores.

7 years ago in 2001, two of hip hop's biggest and best superstars went toe to toe in a epic battle that would be have everyone on the edge of their seats. This was arguably hip hop's biggest beef/battle since Biggie and Tupac traded verses before their untimely death. Thankfully, this beef stayed on wax!
A majority of you may have been teenagers (in high school) or young adults when this battle was on the horizon. And in some cases (like K-TO's) you may have been two young to remember this epic battle.

Barack Obama under pressure to break silence over Israel-Gaza crisis

As the third day of Israeli air strikes drew to a close, Mr Obama continued his holiday in Hawaii with a game of golf, keeping his distance from reporters who might hurl a question at him.
Mr Obama does not become president for another three weeks and his aides argue that any comment by him could send mixed messages to the world about American foreign policy.
But Mr Obama's silence is being interpreted by many as an implicit agreement with President George W Bush's stance that the crisis is the fault of Hamas and that Israeli military action should not let up until the Islamist group agrees to stop firing rockets into Israel.
By Tuesday morning, a small group of pro-Palestinian supporters had gathered outside Mr Obama's $5 million (£3.5 million) holiday home. Some pointed out that he had made statements about the Mumbai terrorist attacks and a range of other issues.
"He is talking about how many jobs he is going to create, but he is refusing to speak about this," said Carolyn Hadfield, 66, one of the protesters.
Margaret Brown, also 66, carried a sign that modified Mr Obama's campaign slogan to read "'Yes we can' change US policy toward Israel and Palestine",. She said: "We need to stop giving Israel a blank cheque to do what it's doing. It's political suicide to challenge Israel in this country."
There are political risks for Mr Obama, who regularly pledged on the campaign trail to "change the world", in failing to express an opinion on the crisis.
The images of him playing golf are reminiscent of those of Mr Bush, who was mocked for making comments to reporters about international crises just before teeing off.
A White House spokesman said that Mr Bush spoke on Tuesday to Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority, and
President-Elect Barack Obama has come under increasing pressure to break his silence on the Gaza crisis, as the United States, almost alone worldwide, maintained its resolute support of Israel.
Salam Fayyad, the Palestinian prime minister, as well as President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt to thank him for "the positive role that Egypt is playing in the current crisis".
Although this indicated that Mr Bush was open to a ceasefire deal being brokered by Egypt or perhaps Jordan, he remained adamant that Hamas was to blame for the violence and refused to echo international calls for Israel to halt military action immediately.
"We have got to get a commitment from Hamas that they would respect any cease-fire and make it lasting and durable," said Gordon Johndroe, a White House spokesman.
"And so until we can get that assurance, not the United States but until Israel can get that assurance, from Hamas, then you are not going to have a cease-fire that is worth the paper it's written on."
Initially regarded with suspicion by some Jewish groups, Mr Obama became more and more pro-Israel in his public statements as the presidential election campaign wore on.
Speaking in the Knesset, Ehud Barak, the Israeli defence minister, quoted Mr Obama in Sderot, within range of Hamas missiles, in August when he said: "If somebody was sending rockets into my house, where my two daughters sleep at night, I'm going to do everything in my power to stop that. And I would expect Israelis to do the same thing."
Mr Obama now faces the awkward choice of remaining quiet and letting that statement be cited as a justification for current Israeli actions and wading into the uncharted waters of an international crisis weeks before he enters the White House.

It looks like the new biopic Notorious is headed to theaters on Jan. 16, rather than the DVD bin.
I was on Sandrarose.com and she had an opinion regarding the new movie. I haven't seen it as of yet but I am really hoping this is not a str8 to video they are putting in movies. Personally I would have preffered a movie ..not a documentary reflecting on the rise of Nas, Biggie, wutang and Jay ( I want my name back) Hovahh and how they Defined a new era!
My opinion is this and I know some may like it. but F' em.....Biggie was dope, Nas was necessary but when Reasonable Doubt dropped It was a wrap... ROC-A-FELLA YALL!!! (But only with Jay, Dame & Biggs)
Dame Dash and Jay-z break-up to air out in Documentary
After a bevy of women penning tell-all’s about dudes in the rap game it’s time for one man to release his take on why Jay-z dumped Dame Dash. Former BET producer and Roc-A-Fella employee, Choke no Joke is releasing [date not provided] “I am Choke, No Joke” to detail the break-up.
In a recent interview Choke provided some details on why the two moguls parted ways saying, "Dame was a camera freak. He loved people to tape him 'cause he started thinking he was a star... Ever since the 'Big Pimpin' video, it started to get to his head." Choke claims Dash's signing of rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard, and his proposal of Cam'ron as a Vice President of the label were among the disputes that drove a wedge between the two, adding: "Jay wasn't feeling none of that ****."
This documentary already sounds heavily biased in Jay-z favor – clearly Dame brought something to the table – Jay didn’t build Roc-A-Fella by himself! Dame isn’t the first or the last talented person to fall prey to stardom.
But to bad for Dame he lacks the swagger of another camera freak – we call him Diddy – to “make another Hov” but the least he could do is drop those no talent embarrassing Harlem rappers – Jim Jones and Cam’ron ASAP! In the meantime he can quietly run his wife – Rachel Roy’s empire – to which they just signed a multi-million dollar equity share deal with Jones Apparel Group. Not to shabby for a “camera freak”.
